About the course:

Hat-hor was the Egyptian “goddess” of sacred arts—childbirth, music, dance and scrying—in a time long before the Age of Separation. It was Hat-hor that empowered kings through her love and wisdom, without her they would not succeed. This course is aimed to reconnect us to her very ancient wisdom by exploring the gifts that she has to bestow on us.

As we move into the Shift of Ages we move into a time when it is imperative that we embrace the Divine Masculine and Feminine and step into our full potential. In order to do this we must reclaim ancient knowledge to assist us in this process.
The Pharaonic temples in Egypt are built over more ancient sites. It is the more ancient wisdom that we need to tap into connecting us to the deeper, primordial energies from before the “separation” (3114/3115 BC).

Reconnecting us to the Age of Taurus, Hat-hor's era, the time of the Sacred Cow, the Great Mother. In ancient Egypt the powerful “Serpent Goddess”, the archetype of the Divine/Sacred Feminine, was known as Hat-hor/Sekhmet.

This course is aimed to reconnect us to the Divine and Sacred aspects of the feminine. We can gain an understanding of what that is by exploring the archetype that represented the Divine/Sacred feminine in ancient Egypt, Hat-hor.

In this course we will:

  • Look at archetypes and why they are important.

  • Explore how Hat-hor represents the Divine/Sacred Feminine.

  • Understand why it is important for women of this time to reconnect with this archetype.

  • Look at her relationship to the King, her son and Sekhmet.

  • Learn how to invoke these energies to empower ourselves and others.

Leslie Zehr

Leslie Zehr is a sacred arts teacher, workshop leader, mentor, and author, who, for more than 30 years, has supported women to reconnect to the Divine Feminine within through the mysteries of ancient Egypt. Born in Peru and educated in the United States, Leslie followed a calling to "return" to Egypt in 1986 to learn about and experience the ancient mysteries. In 2002, after an initiation experience at Dendera Temple in Luxor, she received and developed the Universal Dancer, a simple but profound method of Sacred Dance that works with sacred geometry, primordial energies, waves, and the chakras to unlock intuition, vitality, and creativity. A trained hypnotherapist, reiki master, astrologer, aromatherapist, and homeopath, Leslie is the author of two books –The Alchemy of Dance: Sacred Dance as a Path to the Universal Dancer, which has been translated into Spanish; and The Al-chemia Remedies: Vibrational Essences from Egyptian Flowers and Sacred Sites – as well as a CD entitled "Navel Portal Activation and Guided Visualizations." In Cairo, Leslie founded and ran The Centre for Health and Well-being, which later became The Centre for Sacred Arts, a modern-day temple for learning and creativity honoring the Goddess Hat-Hor. Her lectures and workshops in Sacred Dance and the Al-chemia Remedies have taken her from Cairo, ancient Egyptian temples, and archaeological sites along the Nile River to studios and centers in New York, Maine, Maryland, Arizona, Washington, and Puerto Rico.
